About Me

I am a happy, friendly, bubbly person who likes nothing more than getting stuck into work or a good design project. I do enjoy working within a team or my own, I have also worked remotely. I am very social and enjoy being part of a company. I am a very good addition to a company and have a full driving licence.

My Experience

I have over 10 years of experience working within the creative market. Although ranging in different roles I have largely remained as a graphic/creative designer and this is what I am most passionate about. I have a very good knowledge of Illustrator, Indesign and Photoshop, I have experience in Dreamweaver and have built my own website. I enjoy learning new programs, or seeking out how to do something. I can use both MAC and PC, I have no preference between them.

Me at home

I have two children, so I enjoy doing things with them. I like taking them places like the zoo, historical buildings, beaches, parks, steam trains, or just chilling at home with them. Myself I love drawing, photography and creating stories. I enjoy car boot sales as I collect ponies. I love watching animation and films, as i enjoy the art and the detail that can be in them, as well as the stories they tell. I am a big Harry Potter fan - the books as well as the films. I love Star Wars and I also love the films of How to train your dragon.

My Work History

Dynco (Dynamic Consultants) - July 2015 - Oct 2018

Creative Designer

Designed corporate branding from Logos to stationery. Created brochures, banners, tickets, vouchers, adverts, business cards and other design material needed. Sorted out wireframes for websites and designed websites based on the clients’ requirements and the templates provided. Designed internal work such as brochures, christmas cards, business cards, blog images, adverts and other design material. Sorted out mockups for displaying our work.

Burrows - June 2011 - March 2015

Artworker

At burrows I mainly worked on brochures for Ford and Mazda. I would be given projects for a specific car and it was my job to prepare the brochure ready for clients to translate and prepare it for print using programs such as Illustrator, Indesign, Photoshop, Nuworld and Odystar. Each car would have between 3-8 brochures depending on the specs they had and it was our job to make sure the markets had the correct brochure for translation, to make sure that the brochures had the correct specs and chase images if necessary. For print each project would have a selection of variations of CMYK Plates and Market Black plates which would all go through a program called Odystar.
